A slice of Old Hawaii in peaceful Puako. The breakfast lanai captures a view of the Pacific while a spacious rear lanai affords the sunrise over Mauna Kea.

Lushly landscaped with a manicured, spacious lawn ideal for play, Hale Melemele is cozy and quaint and elegantly furnished in Island Style decor. There are 2 bedrooms, plus a four poster bed occupies the alcove adjoining the living area. You can hear the surf and see the ocean from the front deck areas.

There is one full bath with an adjoining outdoor shower with teak floors and fully enclosed. The other half bath is adjacent to the second bedroom. Lots of decks to dine on and have a family barbeque. The cottage is perfect for 1-2 couples or a family of up to 5.

Puako is small oceanfront community and just a few minutes from the sugar sand beaches of Hapuna and Waialea Bay. One of the island's great surf spots is nearby and the Puako reef is known for its exquisite diving and snorkeling.

Amenities Include; Wireless High Speed Internet, Washer/Dryer, Microwave, CD player, Cable TV with DVD (in living room and master bedroom), gas BBQ on lanai, Air-conditioning in the Living Room.

Accommodates up to five: Queen, Queen, Twin Bed and Full Bed.

Rates:  $285 per night for five people (the maximum occupancy is five people),  plus taxes and a cleaning fee.  Holiday rate is $350 per night. Discounts available for fewer occupants, length of stay, and time of year.  There is a $10 per day charge for use of the AC.
