Marla Kane, is our Office Manager. She works at the reservation desk every day, answering inquiries by phone and email. She prepares and sends reservations and confirmations and receipts for rents received. She is the friendly voice that answers the phone and our true Hawaiian with the aloha spirit. She can tell our guests about all the great sights to see and things to do because she was born and raised right here on the Big Island! She handles all of the day to day operations at the reservation desk: repairs, owner communications, property showings, check ins, guest relations and guest needs. Marla has been with us for over 10 years! Everyone loves Marla!!!
Kirsten Moe is Debbie’s Personal Assistant. Debbie calls her a personal assistant extraordinaire! She is the ideal property manager’s assistant…. on call every day for any emergency. She greets the guests and prepares the homes for arrival, overseeing every detail of cleaning and maintenance. The person checking the TV remote control batteries, installing the Wifi and pulling the threads off the towel displays! She gives our vacation homes and condos a “white glove” service with attention to every detail. We couldn’t get a washer repaired fast enough before a guest arrived, so Kirsten took the guest’s laundry and brought it back the next day clean and folded. First class service! Thanks Kirsten!
Jay Tubianosa & Arlene Chan-Tubianosa
Jay is our Marketing Director and he has over 25 years of experience managing businesses and overseeing portfolios of assets. Jay joined up with Debbie at the end of 2015 to help grow and improve the services provided to owners and renters. Jay also brings significant contacts from the mainland and internationally to help expand Island Beach Rental’s network of partners and marketing opportunities. He has a degrees from Bentley College and New York University’s Stern School of Business. Additionally, he is a Chartered Financial Analyst CFA and a Professional Risk Manager PRM. Jay is a avid historian and landscaper.
Arlene is our Accounts Manager and she has 20 years experience as an office manager for commercial and residential real estate rentals. She was responsible for in-house accounting—paying bills and payroll, making bank deposits, recording invoices, and handling tax matters. Also, Arlene brings to Island Beach Rentals her expertise as an interior design having studied it for many years and mastering in fabric art design. She spent many years in cooperation with the NYC Department of Building and NYC Landmarks Preservation Commissions.
Alesia Krueger obtained her Real Estate license in 2008 and began her property management career. Her specialty is with Resort Homes and Condos. She started off managing one and then gained approximately 37 properties for her vacation rental program, in the following 7 years. She recently changed Brokers to join our work ohana (family). She has lived in Hawaii for the past 15 years and calls the Big Island home. She loves raising her four keikis in paradise. Her owners appreciate our full service vacation rental company, and Alesia’s commitment to making guests happy, and keeping their homes well maintained. “Hawaii is a dream vacation and on many bucket lists. It makes me happy knowing I can help make that happen”.
