The Puako Beach condos are the only condominiums in the quaint, secluded, oceanfront community of Puako. Located adjacent to the Puako store, it is the first building on the left, as you enter the village which consists of a 2 mile stretch of 80 oceanfront properties (makai) , and 80 homes across the street from the ocean (mauka) on Puako Beach Drive, a dead end street.

There are 38 units in the Puako Beach condos, a four story concrete building which was constructed in the early 1970's. There is an elevator and three staircases available for access. There is not a wheel chair ramp at this time. Most of the units have ocean views from the front and a beautiful view of Mauna Kea from the back. Ocean access is across the street. The grounds are prolific with flowers and tropical foliage and there is a circular pool and baby pool contained in a fenced area. Barbecuing is permitted on the lanais with gas grills only, as long as it is not windy. Parking is limited to one car per unit. There is trash disposal on the premises.

Puako is a favorite of the local folk and visitors. There is much to be explored and Hawaiian history galore!
